Freestyle’s ZigBee interface provides a cost-effective, standards-based wireless network that supports low power consumption, security, and reliability for Home Area Networked devices. Based on the ZigBee Alliance’s profiles for Smart Energy, Home Automation and Industrial Control, Freestyle has integrated support for the range of Smart Grid devices available today and the intelligence to allow remote upgrade for the devices in the future.

Other networking capabilities supported include Ethernet, Coronis, optical and serial.

Freestyle has developed a high resolution color In-Home-Display with multi-utility support, historical consumption graphing, instantaneous consumption, and messaging capabilities. High visibility warnings can be displayed to provide users with critical information.
